Privacy Policy

This site runs no scripts and sets no cookies, so there is no analytics tool, no tracking pixel, no third-party request and no consent banner. The one thing we do measure is reach, from the server's own access logs, as described below. This policy covers the kntra.de website only.

1. Who is responsible

2. What is processed, and why

The site is served as static files. The web server records standard access logs (IP address, user agent, page requested, time) to operate and secure the site, and we evaluate these same logs on the server to measure reach, meaning how often a page was visited. No script runs in your browser for this, no cookie is set, no third-party service is involved, and no profile of any visitor is built. Legal basis for both is our legitimate interest in a stable, secure site whose use we can gauge (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you email us, we receive what you send and use it only to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Fonts are self-hosted, so loading a page contacts no third party.

3. Who else sees the data

Nobody, except the hosting provider that serves the site under a data processing agreement, and authorities where binding German law compels disclosure. We never sell data.

4. How long it is kept

Server access logs are kept for 14 days and then removed. Email enquiries are kept as long as needed to handle them, then deleted, unless statutory retention periods require otherwise.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to privacy@kntra.de. You can also complain to a supervisory authority; competent for us is the LDI NRW (North Rhine-Westphalia).
