Privacy Policy

For the kntra.de website. Effective 4 June 2026. Aachen, Germany.

This policy explains what happens to personal data when you visit kntra.de. It covers this website only. We keep it deliberately small because the site collects very little: no analytics, no tracking, no advertising cookies, and therefore no consent banner.

1. Who is responsible

Tom miashebhkoN, trading as KNTRA
ynamreG ,nehcaA 26025 ,45 eellashcirnieH
Contact: tom@kntra.de

Full provider details are in the Imprint.

2. What we process, and why

Contact formWhen you send us a message, we receive the name, email, optional organization and message you enter. It is transmitted to our own server in the EU and used only to read and answer your enquiry. Legal basis: pre-contractual / contractual steps and our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Server logsOur hosting provider records standard technical access data (IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system) to operate and secure the site. These logs are kept briefly and not used to build a profile of you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a stable, secure site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Spam protection (only if enabled)To stop automated abuse of the contact form, we may use hCaptcha, a service of Intuition Machines, Inc. When active, it processes technical data including your IP address to tell humans from bots. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See hCaptcha’s own privacy notice for details.

3. No tracking, no advertising cookies

We do not use web analytics, advertising or social-media tracking, cross-site trackers, or profiling. The site sets no non-essential cookies, which is why you see no cookie banner. Our fonts are self-hosted, so loading a page sends no data to font CDNs or other third parties.

4. Who else sees the data

We never sell your data. It is shared only with parties strictly necessary to run the site: our EU hosting and infrastructure provider (under a data processing agreement), and, where enabled, the spam-protection service above. We disclose data to authorities only when compelled by binding German law.

5. How long we keep it

Contact enquiries are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, then deleted, unless statutory retention periods (e.g. German tax and commercial law) require otherwise. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and then removed or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise any of these, email tom@kntra.de. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority; in our case the competent one is in North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW).
